Altura Capital Info Session

Posted by IUGA

Hey guys,

A friend of many Informatics students and graduates of the program, Micah Ellison, is having his company’s employer information session tomorrow. He will be joined by Ravindra Deo, CTO & CIO of Altura Capital. Micah is interested in getting Info students to join him at Altura Capital, as he knows what we are capable of. So, bring your resume and yourself to this event and learn what life is like at a mid to small sized business in downtown Seattle.

“Altura Capital runs a database of emerging money managers. These money managers input data about their business and investments so that large pension funds can access their services. Altura’s web-based technology is hinged on the elusiveness of these managers and their desire to be exposed to big clients.

Ravindra Deo, CTO & CIO, and Micah Ellison, Project Manager, will discuss how they built Altura’s technologies in the context of the rewards and roadblocks of working in a small business.”

Thursday, December 4, 2008
Time: 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Rooms: MGH 310D
FREE food and drinks will be provided.
