IUGA All Member Meeting

The first IUGA all member meeting of the 2007-2008 academic year will be October 16th from 11:00-11:45 in MGH 258. Pizza and drinks will be provided and we will be talking about some of our upcoming events such as employer information sessions, the annual ski trip, and our fall LAN party. You don’t want to miss it!

Avanade Info Session

IUGA will be hosting an information session with Avanade for Informatics students on Thursday October 18th from 11:00-12:00 in MGH 310D. 310D is the conference room in Suite 310 which is right be the elevator on the 3rd floor.

IUGA Website Changes

You can now join IUGA from the IUGA Website! Simply click on the ‘Join IUGA’ button at the top of the page and you will be prompted for your NetID login credentials. If you were previously joined, you can either fill in this form or you will be manually joined in the near future…

Other upcoming features:

  1. Updated forum with more security features to prevent spammers from posting unnecessary information.

InfoCamp Seattle 2007

InfoCamp Seattle 2007 will be a collaborative unconference, featuring
two days of workshops, roundtable discussions, technology demos, and
social networking sessions on libraries, information architecture,
usability, user-centered design, and information science research.

One of our own iSchool faculty, Bob Boiko, will be a keynote speaker. Registration is free for students or you can even volunteer.
